Q. Does everyone need to register for the Convention? Even children?
A. YES! You will want to register all of the attendees, regardless of age, so that we can best serve you. We encourage camps and leaders to bring staff from all areas of camp to this event – all of our camps are unique in operation and connecting is how we grow and learn.
Q. In what areas of camping ministry are seminars offered?
A. Check out our seminar grid under the Convention tab! Below are examples of our staples that continue year after year. Don’t let your job title hold you back from exploring multiple tracks – we all do everything at camp! Managers / Executive Directors

Q. What airports do you recommend?
A. Pine Springs Ranch has several convenient airports.
-Palm Springs Airport (closest): 1 hour away
-Ontario Airport: The next closet airport, 1 hours 45 minutes away
-John Wayne Airport (Orange County): 2 hours 15 minutes away
-San Diego Airport: 2 hours 30 minutes away
Q. What is the lodging and room assignments when attending a convention?
A. During our stay at Pine Springs Ranch, we will be staying in newly remodeled lodges. The rooms are hotel style, with two queen beds, full linens, and two trundle beds under the queens. The lobby includes hot beverage station with a variety of hot drinks. Room assignments are made prior to arrival and based on your camp’s attendees & gender. Attendees with families will have a private room, while individual attendees will share a room with the same gender. During registration you will be asked your preference on a roommate and we do our best to make this happen! Due to spacing, all individual attendees will share a room with the same gender and hopefully make some new friends along the way 🙂 If a fridge is needed for medical reasons or families with infants, accommodations can be made when you notify the registration team.
Q. What should we bring? Linens or other items?
A. Bring your camp swag! We do a giveaway at the general sessions, so please bring a few items (giving is living) of camp swag to participate in this fun game.
The facility will provide all of the needed linens for you during this convention. No need to pack the sleeping bag. December is expected to be a bit chilly at night, with lows in the 50s and days in the upper 60s
Q. What time should we arrive?
A. Registration Check in will start Wednesday, December 4 at 3pm and end at 8pm. If you’re arriving later than that, please let our registration team know by emailing theresas@campkulaqua.com. It is helpful to let us know if you’re arriving after our check in so that we may let the camp know and plan accordingly.
