December 1-2, 2026 at the 2026 NAD International Camp Convention
The North American Division Camp Ministry team invites all Camp Directors who began camp ministry within the last three years to a NEW CAMP DIRECTOR & RANGER ORIENTATION! Have you recently started camp ministry or just finished your first or second year?… this training is designed for you. You will receive the new NAD book, NEW Camp Director: An Essential Guidebook for New Camp Directors, as a tool to lead our discussions. Hear important advice from Risk Management, better understand camp budgeting and staff hiring, learn about staff training and how to be ready for blind camp, take a deep dive into creating camp culture, camp programming, and SO MUCH MORE! This training program is a must for all new camp directors and rangers!
This exciting NEW Camp Director & Ranger Orientation will take place at the AACP Convention one day before the convention on December 1 and wrap up by 4 pm on December 2. Plan to arrive on Monday, November 30. To make it easy for you, food and lodging will be covered in your regular AACP Convention registration; no added fees for the additional day. YAY!
